Founded in 1958, Bishop Mora Salesian High School is a Catholic, all-boys college preparatory school located in Boyle Heights, East Los Angeles. Rooted in the Salesian tradition, the school serves 378 young men between the ages of 13 and 19, the majority of whom come from low-income, Latino families. Nearly 70% of students qualify for free or reduced lunch, reflecting the school’s mission to serve those most in need within the community.

Despite economic challenges in the surrounding neighborhood—where poverty, crime, and high dropout rates are prevalent—Salesian provides a stable, nurturing, and faith-filled environment where students thrive.
